Information We Collect
GradientLab does not collect any personal information directly. All gradient generation is performed locally in your browser. We do not store any colors, settings, or CSS code you create using our tools. No registration or personal data is required to use any feature of GradientLab.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics 4 is configured with IP anonymization and collects anonymized information such as page views, session duration, and general geographic location. This helps us understand which tools are most popular and how to improve GradientLab. We do not use this data to identify individual users. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements that help keep GradientLab free. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Opting out means ads may still appear, but they won't be personalized to your interests.
Cookies
GradientLab itself does not set first-party cookies. This site uses cookies through third-party services — Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish users and sessions, and Google AdSense sets cookies to deliver and measure advertisements. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Disabling cookies will not affect the core functionality of our gradient tools.
Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, documentation, or resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit via a link from GradientLab.
Third-Party Services
Our only third-party service integrations are Google Analytics and Google AdSense, both governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share user data with any other parties.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Our services are not directed to individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes their child has submitted personal information through our contact form, please contact us to have it removed.
Data Retention
Because GradientLab does not collect personal data, there is no personal data to retain. Anonymized analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard data retention schedule.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of GradientLab after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
